Scholarship Theme: SUS.STARCH Project
Duration: 4 months

Objectives
Physicochemical characterization of samples
• Conversion of waste into bio-oil, its characterization, and study of its potential application
• Prototype production
• Life cycle impact assessment
• Participation in dissemination and dissemination actions
• Scale-up trials of the biofuel production process by liquefaction and analysis of the potential application on an
industrial scale.
Work Plan

Selection process

Contest Evaluation Method(s)
Curricular evaluation weighted to 30% on a scale of 20 points with a minimum of 10 points needed for admission.
Carta de motivação weighted to 70% on a scale of 20 points with a minimum of 10 points needed for admission.
The minimum final grade needed for admission is 14 points.
Conditions for the Contest Evaluation
The selection methods will be as follows: Motivation letter and curriculum evaluation, with the respective valuation of70% and 30%, respectively. There may, if justified by the jury, be an interview with the 5 best candidates, and thecandidates will later be ranked according to their performance in the interview.
