Selection process

Curricular evaluation and/or interview, with the respective value of 20-point scale for each component, as described below:

Candidate Merit, consisting of the following parameters:

A1 – Academic and professional background, as reflected in the CV, and proven skills relevant to the tasks to be performed (70%);

A2 – Motivation letter (30%), in which the reasons for submitting the application are clearly stated.

The Candidate Merit (CM) score will be calculated using the following formula:

CM = (A1 × 0.7) + (A2 × 0.3)

Interview (INT): If the selection committee deems it necessary, a selection interview will be conducted with the three (3) highest-ranked candidates.

Final Score (FS) of the candidate will be calculated as follows:

– When the evaluation is based exclusively on Candidate Merit: FS = CM

– When the evaluation is based on Candidate Merit + Interview: FS = (CM × 0.60) + (INT × 0.40)

The selection committee reserves the right not to admit to interview candidates with a Candidate Merit score below 14 points, as well as the right not to award the fellowship if none of the candidates attains a minimum Final Score of 14 points.
