 PhD Position in "From Overload to Hyper-Performance at Work: Cognition Aware Human–AI Design" research by Scientific supervisors tenured professor Agnis STIBE and professor Tatjana TAMBOVCEVA

Economics and Business Institute is looking for a research assistant committed to being part of a team. The institute offers variety of opportunities to dedicated individuals who want to deepen their understanding of the research field: 

• Economics and Business

• copy of a personal identification document
• research proposal
• motivation letter
• CV
• copies of master's degree documents – diploma and diploma supplement
• proof of English language proficiency (at least B2 level) or proof that previous education was entirely in English (notation in the diploma or an official statment from the educational institution)
• List of publications (if applicable) to be attached separately

• Master's degree in social sciences or equivalent; Master's degree in management, administration and economics or equivalent; Master's degree in natural sciences, engineering, production and construction or equivalent, for a person with at least two years of professional work experience in the management of companies and institutions
• Practical experience in entrepreneurship is desirable
• Experience in research is desirable
• Good computer skills
• English language – at least B2 level

• Salary starting from 800 EUR/month

The starting date is April 2026; however, this may be adjusted depending on the candidate’s readiness to begin doctoral studies and establish employment with RTU
