We help build community
Our Community Bank Caloundra is here to support you. That’s why we invest funds each year directly into our Caloundra and surrounding community. We’re small enough to service grassroots community groups, schools and organisations, at the same time as being big enough to consider larger community building projects and infrastructure.
We’re for a prosperous Caloundra region
We know successful communities mean successful businesses and we’re all about our region thriving so everyone benefits.
We’re committed to developing partnerships that assist in achieving positive community outcomes. And we’re particularly interested in the legacy we can create, by partnering with organisations that build and strengthen our community.
To date, our Community Investment Program has returned over $900,000 to Caloundra local community groups and organisations. We agree… it’s impressive, but we’re only getting started.
And this is where you come in….
Where do funds come from?
Our community investment funding is made possible by the profit generated from the banking services we provide at our Bulcock Street branch.
Community banking is a ‘profit-for-purpose’ model, meaning profits are returned directly to the community that has generated them. In our case, the beautiful Caloundra and surrounding region.
Community banking is designed to feed a positive cycle of good business, community and giving back.
To run a successful Community Investment Program and return as much as possible, we first need to run a successful business. That’s why it’s important customers bank with us in the first instance.
How does the program work?
Simply, we invest in local community groups and organisations that undertake projects to build and strengthen our community.
When we invest, we’re also enabling community groups to leverage our funding and implement sustainable practices for future proofing their organisation’s success. That’s sustainability at its core.
Get Involved
If you’re part of a community group doing great things, making change and delivering exciting projects, please apply for community investment funding.
We’re looking for bold ideas where we can collaborate on finding community solutions. We’re also happy to hear about projects your local community group can bring to life with our support.
Apply Today
The types of organisations we typically support (but are not limited to) include community interest groups or organisations, sporting clubs, schools, and/or community service projects.
The aim of the Community Investment Program is to achieve impact widely across many industry sectors.
Grants
Our grants are paid to an organisation to address a social issue within the community.
Examples of projects that would be considered as a grant, click here
Sponsorships
We sponsor events, projects or organisations through the provision of money, goods or services in return for customer acquisition opportunities and brand recognition.
Sponsorship applications that provide year-round access to members and opportunities tend to be more successful.
Scholarships
Our scholarships support students to further their studies with less financial burden.
Please contact CaloundraMailbox@bendigoadelaide.com.au if you have any queries as to which program to apply to.
