The Conway Medical Center College of Health and Human Performance at Coastal Carolina University, Department of Recreation and Sport Management, announces one (1) Visiting Assistant Professor position beginning in August 2026. This is a one-year appointment.
 
The Recreation and Sport Management Program seeks a highly qualified individual who will play integral roles in the continued development of rapidly expanding programs in recreation and sport management and sport studies. Candidates must possess an earned Doctorate in Sport Management, Recreation Management or highly related discipline (ABD considered). The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate excellence in teaching and effective community/public engagement. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses to be selected from, but not limited to: Moral and Ethical Reasoning, Recreation and Sport Leadership, Sales and Financing in Recreation and Sport, Introduction to Recreation and Sport Management, Sport Analytics, and Sport in Contemporary Society.
