Essential Job Duties
The department  at UNC-Chapel Hill seeks a highly motivated Research Assistant to join our collaborative team. Our department  is dedicated to advancing the understanding of trauma recovery and developing interventions that improve outcomes for trauma survivors. We believe that contributing to research that helps people heal after trauma is both meaningful and rewarding work — and that our success begins with our people.
The team is made up of researchers, clinicians, and staff who share a passion for discovery, service, and professional growth. Trauma survivors are placed at the center of all we do, and we strive to create a community where every team member can contribute to science while developing their own skills, leadership, and career trajectory.
This position is an excellent opportunity for recent college graduates or post-baccalaureate students interested in gaining hands-on clinical research experience prior to pursuing graduate, medical, or other advanced training.
This role offers an opportunity to contribute to impactful research while gaining skills in clinical trials, data collection, regulatory compliance, and participant engagement, all within a supportive, mission-driven team.
