Temporary Quality Assurance Worker

The Housing Facilities is currently seeking a Temporary Quality Assurance to join their team of professionals. 

Duties include:

• Conduct detailed inspections of student rooms, apartments, and common areas for cleanliness, functionality, and overall condition. 
• Identify and document any maintenance, repair, or cleaning issues and ensure prompt follow-up for resolution. 
• Perform minor touch-ups, including cleaning, and small repairs as needed. 
• Utilize provided tools to assess room conditions. 
• Collaborate with custodial and maintenance teams to ensure tasks are completed to standard. 
• Assist in restocking supplies needed for QA inspections, such as cleaning chemicals, paint, and other tools. 
• Manage lost and found items, including collecting, documenting, storing, and coordinating the return of items to residents or appropriate departments. 
• Report inspection results and lost and found updates to the QA Coordinator or Building Operations Manager. 
• Performs other related duties as required or directed. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning tasks that are logically related to the position.
   

Temporary

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. 
• Capable of standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods. 
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify issues that could affect resident satisfaction. 
• Basic skills in cleaning and performing minor repairs. 
• Excellent organizational skills for managing lost and found inventory. 
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of experience.

• 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Monday-Friday
• Ability to work weekends.

• $17.00 per hour.

As a temporary employee, you will not be eligible to participate in all employee benefit programs (e.g., paid leave, retirement, or tuition reimbursement).

Under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), a temporary employee who works on average 30 hours or more per week may be eligible to enroll in health care benefits. As a temporary employee, you are also eligible to enroll in supplemental plans (e.g. dental, vision,) which requires full payment on your part.
