| Job Summary | The University of Utah is building the future of innovation — and we’re seeking a Venture Development Partner for a limited-term, part-time role (6 months, 16 hours/week). This position is designed to mentor faculty founders and early-stage teams in specific industries as they translate research into impactful ventures. The Venture Development Partner will provide targeted guidance on commercialization strategy and fundraising readiness, helping teams refine their business approach, craft compelling pitches, and prepare for investor engagement. |
| Responsibilities |
|
| Minimum Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); two years full-time experience; demonstrated communication and human relations skills; and a commitment to provide excellent customer service required. A Master’s degree preferred. |
