| Position Highlights | The School of Art is seeking a professional to provide comprehensive technical management for the Book Arts & Letterpress Lab and the School of Art 2D Print Studio. This position supports the Print and Book Arts studios through effective studio management, safety oversight, and instructional support. The role is responsible for overseeing and maintaining all print facilities and equipment within the VARS building, including the 2D print labs and the Book Arts and Letterpress Lab. Key duties include managing day-to-day studio operations, project coordination, supplies, supervision, and the ongoing maintenance of letterpress and printmaking equipment; serving as the designated safety officer and liaising with the building manager and faculty; supervising and mentoring interns, work-study students, and volunteers; and providing instructional support through demonstrations and trainings that foster a dynamic, collaborative educational environment for faculty and students.
