Job Description:

Summary:

A Teaching Assistant (TA) for courses within the Computer Science Department will support a professor and students, primarily by leading discussions/labs, holding office hours for tutoring/clarification, grading assignments, and managing administrative tasks, acting as a crucial link to help students understand complex material and succeed in the course.

Essential Functions:

• Lead discussions and labs.

• Hold office hours for tutoring/clarification.

• Grade assignments.

• Manage administrative tasks.

• Other duties assigned.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

• Part-time.

• 5 hours per week.

Salary Range:

• $17.95 per hour.
