Position Summary
The Student Office Assistant assists in the daily operations of the School of Mathematics, Science, and Engineering Dean’s Office. The Student Office Assistant reports to the Administrative Assistant to the Dean.
This position is funded by the Federal Work-Study program and is open to UIW students who are approved and eligible to participate in the Federal Work-Study Program.
Essential Functions
  • Provides daily office support to the Administrative Assistant and to the Dean.
  • Performs campus deliveries to Print Shop, Business Office, Accounts Payable, mail-room, etc.
  • Filing, data entry.
  • Scanning, copying of documents.
  • Support a friendly, student-oriented environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education
Current UIW student approved and eligible to participate in the Federal Work-Study program.
Required Work Experience
No previous work experience required; training is available.
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

None.
Work Hours
  • The assigned work schedule is dependent upon the academic schedule of the-Office hours are incumbent;
  • Office hours are Monday through Friday between 8 am – 5 pm.
