Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary	The Student Assistant will support Dr. Yuxin Wen in CPSC392 Introduction to Data Science.
Responsibilities	Assist in grading assignments, quizzes, projects, and other materials given a rubric by the instructor Post assignments and prepare materials for the course in conjunction with the instructor Post grades and provide feedback on assignments on Canvas Hold walk-in help hours to give targeted feedback on assignment grading and assist students with assignments Respond to student inquiries via Slack and email as needed
Required Qualifications	Has completed CPSC392 and earned an A- or above.
Desired Qualifications	Experience using Learning Management Systems such as Canvas Experience tutoring, mentoring and/or teaching at the undergraduate level Excellent communication skill
