Will work with Education Staff to assist with natural history classes for children aged 6-12. Will help the Summer Camp Facilitator conduct activities, supervise campers, help with daily classroom set-up and clean-up, and class preparation. Some programs take place outdoors. May drive a van to transport children. Applicants must furnish three references at time of applying.

Required Education: High school diploma/GED AND, must be currently enrolled in a combination of two terms as a student at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
Must attach Fall, Spring, and/or Summer OU class schedule
Skills:
Experience working with children in a daycare, classroom or informal education setting
Interest in science and natural history education
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Good oral and written communication skills
Proactive and able to prioritize tasks independently
Certifications:
Driver's License
Advertised Physical Requirements:
Walking, able to lift 30 pounds
Able to bend, stoop and reach
Department Preferences:
Experience working with children in a classroom setting.
Some coursework in life science and/or natural history
Familiar with local plants and animals
