Essential Functions

  • Assist with reviewing existing contracts and working with departments on renewal
  • Assist with acquiring and reviewing "terms and conditions" in contracts
  • Provide administrative support to Purchasing staff 
  • Entry of data into several different databases
  • Prepare and maintain business documents
  • Assist with RFPs, Bid Tabulations, Vendor Communications
  • Assist with organizational maintenance of the office
  • Communicate with other University personnel and outside vendors
  • Occasionally responsible for delivery of documents to other campus offices
  • Misc. duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications

  • Experienced and proficient in: MS Excel and MS Word  
  • Prefer Supply Chain major with an interest in Public Sector Procurement
  • Must be dependable, with a good work history
  • Must possess a high level of accuracy in work assignments
  • Ability to work independently with little to no supervision at times 
  • Must be able to work during the summer and other breaks (Flexible schedules for breaks can be accommodated upon approval of supervisor)
  • Seeking a professional and focused student who can add value to the Department

  • The job is in the Purchasing Office, located in the Huntington Building 1851 N. Research Drive, Bowling Green, OH 43403. 
  • Transportation is required - NO shuttle service is available
