Position Summary Information


Job Description Summary
Provide general admin/office support.
Responsibilities
Assist with the recording of recitals and concerts for the Hall-Musco Conservatory of Music. Interacts with the Director of Music Technology, CoPA Events & Communications Coordinator, and Music Faculty. Additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Little to minimal prior experience.
  • Ability to learn support process.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Desired Qualifications
  • Google Suite
  • Office 365
  • Familiarity with a DAW, prefer
  • Instrument checkout room
  • If Applicable, you may be requested to drive your personal vehicle to conservatory events
  • Knowledge of DAW software, Video editing software, basic computer competence.
  • Experience using iMacs is preferred.
  • Experience using A/V hardware, and routing audio and troubleshooting
  • Data management basics are necessary

Engineers can be assigned to “specialties” (i.e. specific tasks and responsibilities). Consult with head engineer or Prof. Borecki if you have any skills that are appropriate for the following:
  • Live sound & PA Systems
  • Social Media/Marketing
  • Organizational Experience/Skill – Studio Management
  • Leadership experience
Special Instructions to Applicants
  • Anticipate working nights and weekends.
  • Students enrolled part-time or with less than 18 credits are encouraged to apply.
  • 2-10 hours per week on average, can fluctuate up to 19.5hrs/week at the end of each semester
