Job Description

Creative students will assist with daily creative video and graphic needs for the Oklahoma Football team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting in the creation of graphic/video content for recruiting, internal team needs, and social channels.  

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director of Creative Content in the creation of graphics for use with recruiting, internal team needs, and social media channels.

  • Assist the Director of Creative Content in the creation of video content for use with recruiting, internal team needs, and social media channels.

  • Assist the Director of Creative Content in the creation of animation or motion content for use with recruiting, internal team needs, and social media channels.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Required Education: Must be currently enrolled in the Spring 2026 term as a student at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.

  • Must attach Spring 2026 OU class schedule

 

Shift Information:

  • Office Hours assigned to work around class schedule

  • Summer hours vary based on recruiting and team needs

  • Required to work all home football games

  • Work may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Spring-Fall rehire eligible based on performance

 

Skills:

  • Applicants must be able to work independently or as part of a team and must be self-driven

  • Students must be able to take direction, think creatively, complete assigned tasks, and communicate

  • Must be proficient in all or some of the following programs: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro,

  • After Effects) and Blender.

  • Ability to work on Mac Platforms

  • Communicate effectively and work professionally in a team setting

  • Ability to be a self-starter and think creatively

  • High level of creativity and innovation

  • Strong awareness of industry needs

  • Follow department policies and procedures

 

Advertised Physical Requirements:

  • Standing for extended periods

  • Some lifting and moving of equipment up to approximately 50 pounds

  • Work around loud environments

  • Work performed in-person and on campus

 

Department Preferences:

  • Interest in athletics and media production

  • Experience with cameras

  • Experience in team-based or fast-paced environments
