Job Description
This role provides the opportunity to work directly with (2-3) NCAA Division II programs and assist with other teams as assigned by the Director of Strength and Conditioning.
Responsibilities:
  • Program and coach strength & conditioning for assigned teams.
  • Assist student-athletes in proper training techniques, speed development, plyometrics, injury return-to-pay and modifications, and recovery methods.
  • Assist in physical performance testing and evaluation.
  • Work effectively with department support services personnel to enhance student-athlete development.
  • Support daily operations and policies of the strength & conditioning department.

    Required Qualifications
    • Regular admission into an ASU graduate degree or certification program is required.
    • All graduate students who are awarded assistantships must be enrolled in graduate coursework during the terms of their appointments.
    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • CPR/AED Certification
    • Pursuing or holding CSCS and/or SCCC
    • Relative field experience
    Preferred Qualifications
    Physical Demands
    Salary $10,000 annual stipend & full tuition waiver toward a Master’s degree (6 hours per semester)
