I. JOB OVERVIEW
| Job Description Summary: | The Program on Extremism at the George Washington University’s mission is to examine the root causes of extremism, its impact on global security, and strategies to prevent radicalization. Through research, training, and policy development, the Program remains at the forefront of efforts to address the multifaceted challenges posed by both violent and non-violent extremism, contributing to a safer world through meaningful dialogue and evidence-based analysis. Its four core areas of focus are Islamism, Global Jihadism, Antisemitism, and Domestic Extremism. This role is responsible for managing financial administrative tasks, coordinating with domestic and international vendors and contractors, processing personnel reimbursements, and overseeing general office operations to ensure smooth and efficient business functioning. | Minimum Qualifications: | Qualified candidates will hold a high school diploma/GED plus 3 years of relevant professional experience, or, a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant area of study. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. |
