The Department of East Asian Studies at Princeton University invites applications for a full-time position as Director of the Korean Language Program at the rank of Senior Lecturer, expected to begin on September 1, 2026. Applicants must have native fluency in Korean and an excellent command of English. Candidates should have a minimum of six years experience teaching Korean to English-speaking students at the college level; experience directing a language program is preferred (particularly one in which five or six levels of Korean are offered). The director will be in charge of the Korean Language Program. Candidates with an exceptional record of accomplishment and contributions may be considered for appointment at the rank of University Lecturer.

Expected Salary Range: $95,000-$110,000 (9 month academic year)
The University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's qualifications, work experience, education/training, key skills, market, collective bargaining agreements as applicable, and organizational considerations when extending an offer. The posted salary range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate for a full-time position; salaries for part-time positions are pro-rated accordingly.
