Position Summary
This position manages and executes molecular cell biology research activities for the laboratory, including complex experimental projects, supervising, training, and guidance of lab personnel. These activities require independent judgment and competent data interpretation. The position specifically requires advanced theoretical knowledge of and practical experience with protein-centric research techniques and human LINE-1 retrotransposon molecular biology.

· Master’s degree in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, proteomics, or related field
Preferred Experience:
· Minimum 4 years of hand-on laboratory experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on experience with advanced protein analytical science for interactomics, mammalian cell culture, and LINE-1 molecular biology, respectively.
· Familiarity and experience with affinity proteomics research (e.g., IP, sample prep for MS, multi-dimensional PAGE and blotting) and mass photometry technology.
· Experience with leadership, lab setup, and personnel training.
· Website design and maintenance
· AI/ML tools to aid the research environment
· knowledge of the field, methods, techniques, theory, and practice.
· Competence presenting results and producing figures and text for grants and manuscripts.
