The Research Associate will support the Ohio Bee Survey through advanced data analysis, manuscript preparation, and laboratory activities. This position is a short‑term appointment focused on transforming existing datasets into publishable research products while contributing to ongoing laboratory operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree or equivalent experience required;

  • 3 years of relevant experience required with Bachelor's Degree,

  • 1 year of relevant experience required with Master's Degree.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Master’s degree in Ecology and Evolution or a closely related field

  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in statistical analysis and data management

  • Demonstrated expertise in taxonomic classification of bee species

  • Proficiency in R programming for data analysis and visualization



Additional Information:

This position is temporary, May 1, 2026 - June 30, 2026. The target salary is $48,500.00.
