Job Summary/Basic Function

The primary role of the Project Success Social Ambassador is to keep Project Success students connected to campus through creating content for social media by attending various on campus and alumni events. The Social Ambassador is a student who is connected and active on campus and is motivated to encourage other students to be involved on campus. They will be representing Indiana State as well as Project Success.

Specific Responsibilities
Positively represent Project Success at campus events, assist with hosting events for students including set up and take down, promote Project Success on social media, meet with alumni and other stakeholders to share experience with the Project Success program. 
Work Schedule
8am – 9pm, Based on student’s class schedule. Typically 10 – 20 hours a week.

Job Duties


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Attend campus events with other Project Success students and encourage participation
· Take pictures and videos at campus events to be posted on various social media accounts as well as their own
· Create weekly “Day in the Life” videos on specific topics
· Attend alumni events which may require travel
· Liaison to other areas of campus to ensure Project Success students know what is happening on campus
· Use existing connections with organizations to build and strengthen relationships
· Develop new relationships with student groups and organizations
· Good written and oral communications skills
· Maintain professional standards of language and behavior in all posts
· Maintain a personal presence on a variety of social media platforms
· Work in the Project Success office 2 hours a week completing projects as needed.
