| Position Summary | Postdoctoral Researcher Position in the Department of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Pharmacology, Indiana University School of Medicine Dr. Charlie Dong’s laboratory in the Department of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Pharmacology, Indiana University School of Medicine located in Indianapolis, Indiana is currently recruiting a highly skilled and motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join the research team. Dr. Dong’s lab is funded by the US National Institutes of Health and has published highly cited papers in top-tier journals in the field. The current research program is focused on disease mechanisms and drug discovery on alcohol- and metabolic dysfunction-associated liver diseases and cancers using both cell systems and animal models. | Basic Qualifications | Qualifications: - PhD with substantial hands-on research experience in biomedical sciences is required. - Experience with molecular biology, cell biology, and animal pathophysiology is preferred. - Skills in animal experiments are helpful. - Excellence of publication record in recognized peer-reviewed journals, written and oral communication skills in English, and organizing skills. - Candidate is expected to be highly motivated for scientific research. |
