Position Description
The Mooney Lab is seeking a postdoctoral fellow in the area of thymic engineering. This project will combine various iPSC-derived thymic progenitors at the appropriate developmental stage with biomaterials that mimic thymic niches to engineer a model of the human thymus. This will ultimately be used to scale the production of antigen-specific iPSC-derived human T cells.
Basic Qualifications
Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
Additional Qualifications
Expertise in immunoengineering required, including mammalian cell culture, fluorescent and confocal microscopy, immunoassays, proteomics and scRNA seq analysis, and material characterization.

Salary Range
$67,600 – $91,826. Pay offered to the selected candidate is dependent on factors such as rank, years of experience, training or qualification, field of scholarship, and accomplishments in the field.
