Position Description


Advertised Job Summary
The Postdoctoral Fellow will conduct advanced neurolinguistic research within the Feilong Lab using behavioral and neuroimaging methods. Primary responsibilities include designing and executing neuroimaging analyses, preparing scientific manuscripts, presenting findings at conferences, mentoring undergraduate and graduate students, and contributing to collaborative projects in the lab. The Fellow will also have the opportunity to develop independent research projects aligned with the lab’s focus on the neural basis of language processing. This position offers a highly interdisciplinary environment for studying linguistic representation and individual differences using large-scale multimodal datasets and computational tools.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience
  • Requires a Doctoral (Ph.D.) degree in area of research specialty.
Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials
Preferred Qualifications
  • PhD in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent), with postdoctoral in autism research or developmental psychopathology, proficient in administering standardized assessments (for example – ADOS, ADI-R, Vineland, Behavior Assessment System for Children, etc.).

  • Experience in supervising research staff, working with families of children with ASD, and contributing to peer-reviewed publications.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills grounded in current psychological science
  • Ability to administer and interpret standardized psychological and neuropsychological assessments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clinical documentation and research collaboration.
  • Knowledge of ethical standards (APA, HIPAA, IRB compliance).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary clinical and research teams.
  • Competence with electronic health records and research data management systems.
