Position Details

The Sociology Department at The University of Tampa has a position available for a Part-time Temporary Research Assistant. The research assistant will help with research for the Nonreligion in a Complex Future grant.

Responsibilities

1. Schedule and managing meetings.

2. Assist with survey design and construction.

3. Assist with obtaining IRB approval.

4. Review prior literature on research subject.

5. Conduct statistical analyses.

6. Assist with research papers.

7. Contribute to a work environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, and development of skills to engage with those of all cultures and backgrounds.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Sociology or related field.

2. Experience with survey design and construction preferred.

3. Statistical analyses  experience preferred.

4. Excellent time management and organizational skills.

5 Willingness to embrace new technologies and innovative organizational practices.
