Job Description:

Theatre Stage Manager

The BHCC Theatre Program (Charlestown Campus) is looking for a Stage Manager on an upcoming production of John Proctor is the Villain.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee rehearsal scheduling and daily call times.
• Setup/Breakdown each rehearsal and manage matters related to attendance.
• Take accurate rehearsal notes and document blocking, changes, and cues.
• Create and distribute production paperwork/reports.
• Call show cues.

Schedule/Hours:

• Standard Rehearsal Period 2/2-3/25 Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday 5:30-9:30pm (No rehearsal 3/15-3/21)
• Tech Week: 3/26-4/1 weeknights 5:30-9:30pm; Saturday 10-2pm
• Performances: 4/2-4/4 Thursday & Friday 5-8pm; Saturday 12-3pm

Requirements:

• Have flexible availability during the building period, tech week, and performances.
• Experience working with students/ professional theatre performances.

Additional Information:

Salary: $2,394 to be paid as a stipend.
