Position Summary**WE ARE ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION FROM ALL STUDENTS REGARDLESS OF WORK STUDY AWARD**
The Division of Rheumatology is seeking to hire a work-study student, to perform a variety of
office and clerical duties to support the Unit Administrator as well as Faculty. Responsibilities include, but
not limited to, answering the phone, copying, scanning, filing, database entry, confidential record keeping,
support with special events, errands, processing mail, and/or any other miscellaneous job-related duties as
assigned. We are seeking a team-player with a professional attitude, detailed oriented, resourceful, displays
initiative, follows through, and possess strong organizational, communicative, and computer skills.
The successful candidate must exhibit a professional demeanor, have appropriate office etiquette, 
organized and task-oriented, and must be responsible for completing assigned tasks, with accuracy, and
meeting deadlines. The individual must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Typical work hours will be M-F, between the hours of 8:00AM – 5:00PM. Work schedules are flexible and
will be worked out with the supervisor before beginning employment. Must be able to work a minimum of
15-28 hours per week. Applications are encouraged from all student-employment/work-study eligible
students. Strong preference will be given to individuals that are work-study awarded.

  • Ability to operate a variety of office equipment, such as copiers, fax machines, and personal
    computers.
  • Intermediate level of experience using Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and written.
  • Ability to perform task accurately and efficiently.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
