Job Description:

Summary
Iowa State University Research Park (ISURP) is currently accepting applications for a Marketing Specialist I. Reporting to the ISURP Tenant Relations Manager, this role focuses on planning, creating, tracking, and measuring impact of all marketing functions of the ISURP. This includes design, creation, placement, and metrics for all communications of the ISURP. Requires relationship building with ISURP tenants, campus communication partners, and marketing vendors.
Example of Duties

  • Daily execution and project management for all marketing activities of the ISURP
  • Maintains regular contact with assigned ISURP tenants and campus/community partners in regard to marketing activities
  • Facilitates solutions to marketing related issues
  • Regularly represents the ISURP at campus and community marketing events
  • Primary creation responsibility for all materials used in public presentations about the ISURP
  • Graphic design functions
  • Primary responsibility for the creation of materials promoting events and programs at the ISURP
  • Ensures necessary presentation equipment is available and in good working order
  • Assists with site setup and teardown
  • Provides oversight and connection to all ISURP Student Workers working on marketing items with the ISURP

• Individual contributor position with developing professional and/or technical skills working under immediate to general supervision
• Grasps professional-level knowledge and concepts of field while working in a progressive learning mode
• Works on problems and issues of somewhat limited scope
• Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data for which answers are available or can be obtained
• Responds to inquiries and issues, escalating to manager or higher level workers as appropriate
• May lead projects of limited scope and complexity
• May provide guidance to students

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
