Oversee the Perkins and related components that support the Career and Technical Education (CTE) areas of the College. Responsible for the grant development, administration, compliance and reporting in alignment with institutional and regulatory requirements ensuring effective planning and implementation. Assists the CTE areas in support of the related grant funded efforts with development and coordination of plans for such activities.
- Represent the College and CTE in internal and external meetings, presentations, and partnerships, serving as the primary liaison for Perkins and related initiatives.
- Manage all aspects of Perkins and assigned grants, including development and submission of applications, implementation of funded initiatives, eligibility review, required approvals, budget planning, required revisions, improvement plans, site visits, and final reports.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and institutional regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of funding requirements, policies, and allowable uses and communicate compliance across the institution.
- Oversee grant monitoring, timely closeout, and prepare required reports, documentation, and processes.
- Track initiatives to ensure alignment with approved plans.
- Develop and reconcile multiple grant budgets and expenditures.
- Support departments in managing expenses, journal entries, time and effort reporting, and budget troubleshooting.
- Work collaboratively with departments and administrators to support alignment of funding with program initiatives, communicate grant status and requirements.
- Coordinate PROE (Program Review of Occupational Education) with Institutional Research and facilitate completion of applications required for state approval of programs.
- Develop the Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment, obtaining data, institutional information and input from industry and community partners.
- Coordinate the preparation and dissemination of data, reports, publications, and materials for presentations and state submissions.
- Coordinate divisional events, public relations activities, and college/industry communication efforts as assigned.
- Provide programmatic, grant, project and operational support to the assigned Career & Technical Education Dean (MODAC representative).
- Act as liaison to educational partners, industry partners, and community organizations to strengthen relationships, and support CTE students, programs, and activities in the community.
- Coordinate and manage specific projects assigned including equipment and inventory management.
- Serves on committees as assigned
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education from an accredited institution is required. Transcripts must be submitted with the application. Copies are acceptable for use during the screening process.
