Lifeguards may work in either the Indoor Pool or Outdoor Pool (or both) depending on the time of year.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility

  • Act immediately & appropriately in an emergency.

  • Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of EMS.

  • Always presents professional appearance and attitude and maintains a high standard of customer service.

  • Provide for the health and safety of participants, including ensuring that all teaching and practice areas are free of hazards and materials and equipment are safe.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Has current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification that is valid and not expired

Compensation Pay Range:

$16-$18/hour
