| Position Highlights | The Department of Mathematics at The University of Arizona seeks highly qualified, experienced candidates for the position of Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Statistics/Data Science. The primary role of these faculty members is to create an engaging and meaningful learning experience for students in statistics and data science courses across the undergraduate catalog. We are looking for individuals who are dedicated to providing high quality instruction and who will bring enthusiasm and expertise to this endeavor. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with other faculty to contribute to and be part of an innovative teaching and learning environment, and to help develop effective curricula for our Statistics and Data Science degree programs. All positions are in-person at the University of Arizona main campus in Tucson. This is an academic-year, non-tenure track teaching appointment. After an initial probationary period, multi-year contracts will be available, pending performance review. The Lecturer series of titles includes Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, and Principal Lecturer, and there is opportunity for career progression and growth within this career track. Expected starting salary is approximately $60,000 to $70,000 (9 months) depending on experience and qualifications. | Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report | In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University’s campuses.
