The Department of English/Creative Writing at Brandeis University seeks an instructor for ENG 109a, Poetry Workshop; Special Topics in Poetry, a four-credit course in Fall 2026. This course is an all-levels poetry workshop for undergraduate students. The class meets weekly on Wednesdays from 2:30p until 5:20p.
Candidates with at least an MFA in poetry, a minimum of one published full-length book, and two years of teaching experience will be given preference. Interested individuals should submit a cover letter, CV, and names and contact information for two references. The deadline for submission is Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
This appointment is to a position that is in a collective bargaining unit represented by SEIU Local 509.Â
The compensation for this course is $8764.20.
