| Position Summary | Bryant University’s School of Health and Behavioral Sciences (SHBS) invites outstanding and highly motivated educators to apply for a full-time one-year term faculty position with a focus on teaching chemistry. We seek a dynamic faculty member who is passionate about teaching chemistry, with the ability to teach biochemistry and biology as needed, and who is committed to student mentorship and contributing to the growth and vitality of our department. The ideal candidate will bring positive energy, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to excellence in both lecture and laboratory instruction, as well as meaningful engagement in departmental service. The successful candidate will be a dedicated educator willing to teach chemistry courses across the curriculum, including lower-level science classes for both majors and non-majors in our general education program, as well as upper-level courses in their area of expertise. Teaching assignments will consist of a combination of lecture and laboratory courses. We welcome candidates with strong backgrounds in chemistry and related disciplines such as biochemistry and biology, and particularly value teaching versatility, enthusiasm for working closely with students in both classroom and laboratory teaching settings, and active participation in initiatives that support departmental growth. Preference will be given to candidates who meet all primary qualifications and who also have exposure to or experience with integrating emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, into their pedagogy. The School of Health and Behavioral Sciences offers undergraduate majors in Biology, Exercise and Movement Science, Health Sciences, and Psychology, a graduate program in Physician Assistant Studies, a 3+1 B.S. to M.S. in Healthcare Informatics, and a Doctor of Clinical Psychology (PsyD).
