The University of North Florida, in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking an Instructor for the Department of Physics. Responsibilities include preparing and teaching undergraduate introductory Physics and Astronomy lectures and labs. Ideal candidates would also be able to teach an introductory Earth Science lecture and Lab. Additionally, successful candidates are expected to contribute service to both the university and to the profession. Successful candidates must demonstrate the commitment and capability to provide an excellent learning environment to students, work with student-centered methods of instruction, and contribute to the continuing development and implementation of curricular content.

Position requires a Master’s degree in Astronomy, Astrophysics, Physics or a closely related field
