Position Description:
The Associate will focus on research and curating electronic health records data by mapping row EHR data to common ontologies, performing natural language processing to extract clinical entities from free-text notes, performing quality control, and organizing data into a research ready form. The associate will work with senior researchers to perform statistical and machine learning based analyses including predictive modeling and real world evidence generation.
Basic Qualifications:
MS in computer science, biostatistics, biomedical informatics or related field.
Additional Qualifications:
- Knowledge of machine learning tools such as penalized logistic regression, XGBoost, neural networks.
- Knowledge of modeling strategies including propensity score weighting and doubly robust casual estimation.
