Position Summary

The Health Sciences Lab Assistant will be responsible for maintaining the laboratory space in STEM 116. This includes the following:

-          maintaining an inventory of lab supplies for BIOL 1140L, 2210L, and 2225L

-          ensuring the lab is cleaned, supplies are stored in the proper place, and the lab is organized overall.

-          BIOL 1140L weekly prep prior to lab

-          BIOL 1140L weekly clean-up and restocking supplies after lab

-          Completing purchase request forms for lab supplies

-          Organization of STEM Outreach Fellow lab supplies

-          Completion of BIOL 1140L

-          Recommendation from a UNM-Taos faculty member

-          Current UNM-Taos student

Preferred Qualifications

-          Completion of BIOL 1140, 2210 or 2225

-          Associates of Science Degree seeking student
