Position Summary Information


Job Description Summary
Lab and administrative support at the Economic Science Institute.
Responsibilities
  • recruitment management, including sending emails, checking in, assigning seating arrangements, reading rules out loud, logging in to computers and preparing instructions or materials, and monitoring experiments by making sure no one talks, no one goes on their cell phone, and no one leaves the lab unannounced, cleaning the lab, reviewing instructions for errors and clarity
  • data entry
  • searching for papers for professors that have particular keywords
  • attending recruitment opportunities and providing information to interested experiment subjects
  • performing administrative duties, including reception, sorting mail, running errands around campus, and greeting guests
Required Qualifications
  • Fully knowledgeable about the job; be able to handle responsibilities independently and effectively.
  • Possess an undergraduate degree in a similar and/or related field.
Desired Qualifications
  • Computer program experience.
  • Data analysis experience.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in customer service and/or enjoys working with people. Experience working and engaging with a diverse population.
