Civil Engineering Grader: Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reviews homework assignments
  • Assigns grades in accordance with per-established principles, criteria, standards, and procedures
  • Meets with students regarding homework assignment questions
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

Required knowledge, skill and/or abilities: 

  • Student must have successfully completed the course they will be grading for or its equivalent with a grade of B or higher
  • Successfully completed prerequisites for the course, with a grade of B or higher
  • Strong Organizational skills
  • Skills in reviewing and assessing mathematical and/or engineering problems
  • Knowledge and understanding of the principals, methods, and procedures for assigning grades to mathematical and/or engineering problems.
