The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Front Desk Student Worker on the Gainesville campus. The Student Worker is responsible for ensuring excellent customer service related to calls, emails, and walk-ins during normal office hours in the Department of Undergraduate Admissions - Gainesville campus (Student Center).
- Answer phones and direct callers to the appropriate resources.
- Answer emails in Undergaduate Admissions email box (Outlook).
- Light administrative support such as photocopying, document shredding, etc.
- Greet visitors and direct them to the assigned admissions officers.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Ability to work in a team setting.
- Punctuality and strong organization skills are required.
- Willingness to learn.
- Excellent customer service skills enjoy helping people.
- Courteous, supportive and professional demeanor.
- Attention to detail (Admissions criteria).
- Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
- Customer Service or general public experience a plus, but not required.
- Office experience a plus, but not a requirement.
