Front Desk Student Assistant - Institutional Student Worker

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Front Desk Student Worker on the Gainesville campus. The Student Worker is responsible for ensuring excellent customer service related to calls, emails, and walk-ins during normal office hours in the Department of Undergraduate Admissions - Gainesville campus (Student Center).

• Answer phones and direct callers to the appropriate resources.
• Answer emails in Undergaduate Admissions email box (Outlook).
• Light administrative support such as photocopying, document shredding, etc.
• Greet visitors and direct them to the assigned admissions officers.

• Ability to work in a team setting.
• Punctuality and strong organization skills are required.
• Willingness to learn.
• Excellent customer service skills enjoy helping people.
• Courteous, supportive and professional demeanor.
• Attention to detail (Admissions criteria).

• Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.

• Customer Service or general public experience a plus, but not required.
• Office experience a plus, but not a requirement.
