Position Summary Information


Job Description Summary
Provide support for the World Languages French Program.
Responsibilities
  • General support for the French language program director and French faculty at Chapman.
  • Providing support for French program events including creating promotional materials, posting flyers, event set up and take down.
  • Assisting French program director with proofreading, illustrating and reformatting French program documents and communication with French Faculty.
  • Providing peer-based and mentorship support to beginner and intermediate French students during office hours.
  • Organizing and assisting with the Lambda Chapter of the National French Honor Society.
  • Participating in student panel for Chapman admit day each Spring
Required Qualifications
  • Little to minimal prior experience.
  • Ability to learn support process.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Language skills in French
