Summary

Perform sales support and merchandising functions necessary for efficient operation of various departments at Falcon Outfitters.  Responsible for providing quality and efficient customer service to customers and guests.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for maximizing merchandise sales by assisting customers with purchase of products (answers questions, assists customers with merchandise selection, assists with concerns, etc.)
  • Operates Point-Of-Sale terminal for sales, buyback and return transactions.
  • Stock merchandise, including folding and arranging shelves, fixtures and displays according to Merchandising Standards.
  • Assists with package distribution, daily buyback & rental returns and eCommerce processing.
  • May assist with special events such as Graduation Fair, Preview Days, Orientation/Registration, football concessions and other events as needed basis.
  • May be assigned to departments requiring specialized training, such as fingerprinting, package pickup and order processing.
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned, to support the core values, mission and goals of BGSU.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Preference will be given to applicants available to work during the summer and breaks.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new areas and develop new skills, including basic understanding of all areas and functions of store.
  • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to interact well with co-workers and general public.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and adjust to new assignments quickly and easily.
