Client Services - Junior Technology Specialist - Information Technology Services

Summary

Provide technology support for the campus community with excellent customer service. Work in one specific functional area within ITS Client Services to develop a technology specialization. This is the entry-level position for student jobs in ITS Client Services.

Essential Functions

  • Interact with all members of the campus community in a polite, professional, and friendly manner
  • Resolve technology issues for the campus community
  • Accurately document all steps taken to resolve issues
  • Assist in the creation of technology-related documentation for internal (ITS) and external (campus) use
  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be available to work a minimum of 12 hours per week
  • Familiarity with Windows, Mac, and at least one mobile device OS
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Detail oriented
  • Customer focused mentality
  • Previous IT or customer service experience preferred
  • Previous experience with using a ticketing system and/or Outlook calendar preferred
