| Job Summary/Basic Function | The Center for Community Engagement (CCE) is seeking a graduate assistant to be responsible for promoting and facilitating the Community Work student job supervisor position, being the Graduate Advisor the American Democracy Project student organization, and other Community Engagement programmatic responsibilities. |
| Specific Responsibilities | Essential duties and responsibilities of this graduate assistantship include: · Aid in overall operations of the Sycamore Community Work Program, including creating job postings, screening applicants, conducting interviews, and completing payroll. (More about Sycamore Community Work is listed below) · Utilizing various software, including the Applicant Tracking System, UKG, and Qualtrics, for Human Resource functions of the Sycamore Community Work Program. · Help advise The American Democracy Project as well as 2 student workers. This will entail creating and envisioning engaging ADP programming, events, voting registration, and communication with members of the ISU community (More about ADP is listed at the bottom) · Recruit and develop future volunteers and participants in CCE programs that may include: Sycamore Community Work program, Alternative Break program, American Democracy Project, One-Day Service Events including Sycamore Service Saturdays, Donaghy Days, MLK Day of Service, Mentoring programs at elementary schools, etc. · Help with logistics for all CCE programming. · Promote and cultivate volunteerism through education and awareness. · Assist with social media promotion for the CCE. · Administrative tasks. · Other duties as assigned by supervisor. |
