Position Description
The Therien lab at Duke University has an opportunity for a qualified Associate in Research candidate interested in designing, synthesizing, and characterizing superstructures based on nanoscale carbon to study fundamental photophysics and free carrier dynamics. Experience in synthesis, protein chemistry, spectroscopy, modern computational methods and excited-state dynamical studies is desirable. This is a short-term position, available for six months. A bachelor’s degree is required. Interested applicants should describe their areas of interest and submit a CV, including a list of publications and the contact information for three references.
