| Details | VITREORETINAL CLINICIAN SCIENTIST OPHTHALMOLOGY POSITION The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Utah, John A. Moran Eye Center, is actively seeking a vitreoretinal clinician-scientist interested in establishing an independent clinical and translational research program focused on inherited and acquired diseases of the macula and retina. This position is approximately 50% research and 50% clinical practice. We are seeking an ophthalmologist with a strong peer-reviewed publication track record of research in retinal and macular diseases, along with a background in advanced imaging modalities of the retina. Responsibilities include teaching and training residents and fellows in the clinic and operating room. This is a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in an academic setting. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience and credentials. Candidates must have completed an accredited ophthalmology residency and be board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Ophthalmology, as well as completed a two-year surgical vitreoretinal fellowship.
