Face-to-face classes are offered in the Edinburg and Brownsville campuses. We invite applications for a position as a Professor of Practice. The duties for a Professor of Practice position are teaching and service. Applicants with an MBA or Master’s degree in Management or a related field are invited to apply. For applicants with a Ph.D. or DBA in Management or a related field, a research component is possible depending on applicant interests and abilities. The department contributes to the BBA in Management major, the MBA program, the MS in Health Care Administration, the MS in Human Resource Management, and doctoral seminars. The College offers Ph.D. programs in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Management, and Marketing. |

| Additional Information | UTRGV is a distributed institution. As such and as assigned, the position may require presence at multiple locations throughout the Rio Grande Valley. Work is performed primarily in a general office environment. This position is security sensitive and thereby subject to the provisions of the Texas Education Code §51.215. The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length. This position has the option to elect the Optional Retirement Program (ORP) instead of TRS, subject to the position being 40 hours per week and at least 135 days in length. |
