The O’More College of Architecture and Design, department of Interior Design at Belmont University, is seeking applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning January 2026. The Interior Design program is within the O’More College of Architecture and Design (CAD. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary duty will be preparing class content and educational experiences for
teaching undergraduate Interior Design courses – with preference given to
candidates capable of integrating current and advancing technology in the
process and production of design.
Additional responsibilities include academic advising, student mentoring,
scholarly and/or creative activity, recruitment and retention efforts, and
college and university service.
The successful candidate will be expected to pursue these aspects of faculty
life and within an ecumenical, student-focused environment that brings together
the best of liberal arts and professional education in a Christ-centered
community of learning and service.

Required Qualifications:
● Terminal degree in Interior Design or closely related field
● Professional experience in teaching at a college-level
