Job Summary/Description
The Assistant Manager of Ticket Office and Fan Engagement supports ticketing operations for ASU athletic events, including sales, deposits, and reporting. Responsibilities include supervising event-day staff, managing ticket systems, coordinating schedules, and ensuring accurate financial reconciliation. The role also supports fan engagement initiatives, customer service, and compliance with NCAA and conference requirements.
Typical Duties/Job Duties
Customer Service & Fan Engagement
  • Greet and assist box office customers, staff, faculty, students, and visitors.
  • Provide information on ticket sales, departmental services, and procedures.
  • Support fan engagement initiatives and ensure a positive customer experience.

Ticket Sales & Event Operations
  • Manage ticketing system for athletic season tickets, packages, and faculty/staff activity cards.
  • Process ticket orders via phone and in person; handle distribution of tickets and complimentary passes.
  • Supervise advance and event-day ticket sales for all ASU athletic events; coordinate staff schedules.

Financial Management & Reporting
  • Receive and process cash, check, and credit transactions.
  • Prepare, balance, and deliver daily deposits to the Bursar’s Office.
  • Reconcile ticket sales and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Prepare daily sales reports, event summaries, and monthly reports for the Banner accounting system.

Administrative & Compliance
  • Maintain ticketing records for each event; audit and reconcile sales for NCAA, Lone Star Conference, and UIL tournaments.
  • Prepare memos, letters, reports, and forms using word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Manage departmental mail, including bulk mail-outs.
  • Assist with annual inventory of departmental assets and supplies; attend training and meetings as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required. Relevant experience in ticketing, customer service, or office operations preferred.
