General Description / Primary Purpose:
This is work assisting with the management of custodial services.
Job Function:
Supervises the custodial crew supervisors.
Approves time submittals, ensures all custodial staff are trained in accordance with the Association of Physical Plant Administrators (APPA) cleaning standards and Blood Borne Pathogen guidelines.
This position is designated as a Tier 2 respondent for campus emergencies. If there is a declared emergency, the position incumbent will make every effort to return to campus when directed.
Supplementary responsibilities.
Responsible for building inspections
Maintains custodial supply inventory
Maintenance of custodial equipment
Work order submittals
Coordinate with other departments as needed.

Supervision of 4 Custodial Supervisors
Supervision Received:
General supervision. The incumbent develops procedures for performing a variety of complex duties within established guidelines; has considerable freedom while the work is in process, and receives instructions on new assignments.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma and 4+ years of relevant experience. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219.
